This free workshop presents ways to enhance well-being: experiential practices that calm the mind, expand the senses, and open the heart. Students need no previous experience to enjoy the meditation, visualization and Tibetan Yoga exercises offered, practices that will bring ease to body and mind.

This special workshop is taught by the Nyingma Institute's meditation faculty, and open to all interested students at no charge as part of the “Beauty of Being” week that celebrates the Nyingma Institute’s 40th year. Nyingma Institute workshops offer study and meditation in a serene and relaxing atmosphere. A delicious vegetarian lunch is offered during Saturday workshops, along with tea and refreshments during break periods. The Tibetan Nyingma Institute was founded by Tibetan Lama Tarthang Tulku.

The Tibetan Nyingma Institute offers programs in eight fields of study: Buddhist Studies; Nyingma Psychology; Nyingma Meditation; Knowledge of Freedom; Time, Space, & Knowledge; Kum Nye (Tibetan Yoga), Skillful Means; and Tibetan Language

No religious commitment is required to participate at the Nyingma Institute. Introductory and advanced programs are available in the eight fields.
